Our Vision

Generational Impact.....

Impact Global International is a recycling company, but what we recycle—and create—is not your usual recycling. We specialize in generating electricity for rural, third-world communities by treating their waste. In Haiti, only 25% of the population has electricity and only about 12% of the population receive this service legally. This average is even lower in the countryside where about 5% of the population has access to what is perceived as a luxury. In the rural communities of northwest Haiti, the current methods of disposing of human waste are unsanitary and harmful to the environment. Many people dispose of their waste in the street, in bodies of water, or worst of all burn the waste thus contaminating the air. As in many rural areas in the world, waste management has become a persistent and growing concern because of the absence of development and infrastructure like that of a waste treatment plant. We make it our duty to provide a means for rural residents to dispose safely of their waste, in turn generating resources that can revamp these deprived communities.

First, we will collect the waste by employing people of the community to collect waste with garbage trucks on a systematic schedule and bring the waste to the pyrolysis plant for further processing. Upon installation of a pyrolysis plant we will prepare a feedstock (compilation of waste) that can be converted to generate kilowatts per year, produce up to 1000 barrels of biogas per day, and create 800 tons of bio char as a fertilizer. The oil produced is a biodegradable fuel that burns 75% cleaner than conventional oil and can be further processed into diesel which is heavily used in Haiti’s transportation industry. This system can provide more than 75,000 households with electricity, create over 500 jobs and distribute natural gas for an entire community instantaneously.
